Year 4 - DT Week

As part of our Design and Technology topic, we have been developing our sewing skills. We began by practising a range of stitches using felt and threat, including running stitch, cross stitch, and applique. We were then given a design brief to create a cushion for the gift shop of either the London Aquarium or the Iceland Volcano Museum. After choosing our theme, we selected suitable fabric colours and decorations to match our design. Finally, we put our sewing skills into practice by carefully stitching our cushions together, applying the techniques we had learned.
